This initiative aimed to elevate the proficiency and effectiveness of its auditing team. The session, led by [Niina Suuronen](https://www.linkedin.com/in/niinasuuronen/) from Excellence Finland, saw the participation of 18 auditors, encompassing both veterans with extensive experience and a new auditor eager to learn.    ##### **A Day of Learning and Growth**  The participants had clear expectations for the training. They sought practical tips for conducting internal audits, a thorough understanding of the basics, and deeper insights into the requirements of [ISO 9001](https://www.iso.org/standard/62085.html) and [ISO 14001](https://www.iso.org/standard/60857.html) standards. The goal was to acquire knowledge that would not only help in performing audits but also contribute to the continuous development of Dinolift Oy's operations.    ##### The training covered key areas:  **ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Standards:** The session began with an in-depth review of these standards, focusing on how they specifically apply to Dinolift Oy's operations. This ensured that all participants, regardless of their experience level, had a strong foundational understanding.  **Audit Planning, Implementation, and Reporting:** Tools and techniques for effective audit planning and execution were discussed, allowing participants to refine their existing skills and adopt new methodologies for better audit outcomes.  **Enhancing Existing Skills:** For experienced auditors, the training offered new perspectives and deeper insights, helping them to identify and leverage aspects of audits that can drive operational improvements.  -   ##### **The Importance of Internal Audits**  Internal audits, alongside external audits, are critical for ensuring continuous improvement in the quality of operations and products. They play a vital role in enhancing customer satisfaction, which is a core objective at Dinolift Oy. By maintaining a rigorous internal audit process, the company can ensure that it consistently meets high standards of quality and environmental management.    ##### **Positive Feedback and Future Prospects**  The training session received positive feedback from the participants. Even those with extensive auditing experience found value in the new perspectives and practical tips shared during the day. Raija thinks that it is important to be as part of Dinolift’s team to promote the company’s role as a responsible partner to its customers and other stakeholders. Sustainability means, above all, safe and high-quality products that are taken care of throughout their life cycle. After working hours, especially in the summer, she likes to take care of the garden or go to forests to pick berries and mushrooms. Raija says that she has become enthusiastic about cycling again: "It's absolutely wonderful when I can enjoy commuting to work and summer mornings while cycling."
