Dinolift Oy Selected Among 142 SMEs for the Ilmastoyhteisö Program by Finland Chamber of Commerce.
We’re proud to announce that Dinolift Oy has been selected to participate in the Climate Community (Ilmastoyhteisö), a national initiative organised by the Finland Chamber of Commerce and made possible by LähiTapiola. Out of 142 SMEs across Finland, we are honored to be part of this ambitious effort to strengthen climate actions among small and medium-sized companies.
This new phase builds on the work we began in 2024, when we joined the Climate Program (Ilmasto-ohjelma). That program supported us in calculating our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, and thanks to those efforts, we were awarded the official “Carbon Footprint Calculated” mark – a testament to our commitment to understanding and managing our environmental impact.
Now, through the Climate Community, we’re taking the next step by expanding our focus to include Scope 3 emissions. This means looking beyond our direct operations to evaluate the emissions that occur throughout our value chain – including those linked to raw materials, logistics, and product use.
The Climate Community officially launched on Wednesday, 20 August with a kick-off event held in Helsinki. I had the pleasure of attending the event, which featured expert presentations, current affairs briefings, and inspiring discussions on the future of climate responsibility for SMEs.
It was a great opportunity to meet fellow participants, exchange ideas, and reflect on how we, as a manufacturer of lightweight MEWPs (mobile elevating work platforms), can make a real difference in our industry.
As part of the Climate Community, we will receive access to:
This hands-on support will help us build a roadmap toward carbon neutrality and strengthen the credibility of our sustainability communication. It also aligns with our preparation for upcoming sustainability regulations, such as the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive).
At Dinolift, sustainability is not just a buzzword – it’s part of our long-term strategy. As a B2B industrial engineering company and manufacturer of lightweight aerial work platforms, we understand that our choices affect not only our operations but also our partners, suppliers, and end-users.
By participating in the Climate Community, we’re reaffirming our commitment to doing business responsibly – reducing emissions, improving transparency, and collaborating for a cleaner, more sustainable future.
